2. Andrea Bocelli – Por ti volaré
Originally released in Italian (Con te partirò), the Spanish version is just a tiny part of the colossal success this song has had around the world, topping many charts and being covered by artists such as Donna Summer, Il Divo, or Paloma San Basilio.
The Spanish version, however, is the one that made a very funny appearance in the 2008 comedy Step Brothers, with a pretty bizarre cover by Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.
3. Paulo Londra – Adán y Eva
I don’t mean to be rude, but this Spanish song about love is inviting a girl to have their “own sins”.
However, the lyrics written by this Argentine singer also have what might be one of the most complete love proposals you can hear: “Let me take you to your appropriate height/Of your craziness, of your ideas/Of your culture and your science.”

4. Rata Blanca – Mujer amante
Yes, a 1990 Hair Metal song. Yes, by a group called Rata Blanca (White Rat). What’s not to like?
The ballad was almost left off their album Magos, espadas y rosas, but it ended up being one of their biggest hits, with over 107 million views on YouTube.
5. Carlos Vives – Robarte un beso (Featuring Sebastián Yatra)

9. Eydie Gormé – Sabor a mí

Armando Manzanero wrote and released this song on his 1986 album Cariñosamente, and was even a co-producer for Luis Miguel's 1991 version.
With these and many other versions that came later, lovers everywhere had the perfect tune to remember the kisses, hugs and the good times they had with each other.
13. Leonardo Favio – O quizás simplemente le regale una rosa
Leonardo Favio was what you would call a triple threat: one of the most famous actors and film directors in Argentina, and even a very popular songwriter in the 70s.
You can feel (and you certainly must have felt some time) his anxiousness and expectations for meeting his loved one.
And you won’t be able to get the backing vocals out of your head that repeat “Y llovía, y llovía” (And it was raining, and it was raining).
14. Osvaldo Farrés – Quizás, quizás, quizás (Nat King Cole’ version)

16. Gilda – Se me ha perdido un corazón
The biggest female icon of Argentine cumbia knew how to get deep.

This Spanish love song was one of Cristian Castro’s first hits. And it has the Mexican singer explaining how he “learned the pain” by the side of the person he's singing to. That sounds tough!
He was so invested in that relationship that, as he assures us in the chorus, his love won’t be forgotten.
18. Gloria Estefan – Cómo me duele perderte
If you need any measure of how it hurts for Gloria Estefan to have lost her lover, just wait for the bridge and listen to her claiming that “Even the universe has died.”
This single topped the Billboard Hot Latin Songs in the year 2000, and has found its place in broken hearts ever since.
19. Juan Gabriel – Hasta que te conocí

Alejandro Sanz was really comforting a friend about her unrequited love for somebody else, and offered his advice with the song.
As he would later explain, “It is based on a real event and shows that it is very dangerous to have composer friends. And I am totally against talking about other people's lives, but she made it so easy for me.”
In the video, he sings from a rooftop and attracts the police’s attention, just like some Liverpool boys did a few decades before.
25. Bad Bunny – Te deseo lo mejor
Even the king of Latin Trap can acknowledge when he has hurt someone, and this song is the melancholic farewell to someone to whom he wishes the best with someone else.
